On the 7th March 2023, the Conservative Government released their Illegal Migration Bill {{Parliament UK: Illegal Migration Bill}}. The bill covers the removal of "persons who have entered or arrived in breach of immigration control" and also makes provisions for unaccompanied children and victims of human trafficking.
The Bill itself isn't a completely new piece of legislation but is an amendment to the 1971 Immigration Bill.
